Doing this while working on a Bandana Cowl and cuddled up in a big, fluffy blanket.
Just do it.

These are super cool, but I don’t think my Japanese is going to be good enough to read this pattern!
Ridiculous yarn sale today. All of this for $50. It’s all merino, cashmere, alpaca, and silk. The two hand painted hanks in the front alone cost $24 retail. I saw an advertisement on Craigslist that an internet yarn store was going out of business and selling everything for $4 or less. It was AWESOME. It just so happened to be the same people that run Main Street Yarn in Mill Creek, which is a pretty awesome store in its own right. So excited to go on Ravelry and list all of this in my stash!!
Holy poop. I really, really want this. Especially after Craft posted this video about a super awesome Bill Cosby inception sweater. Seriously, if someone wants to donate to this cause, you are getting a freaking awesome sweater.
So it has been approximately a thousand years since my last post, since which I have completed a couple things. Here’s that circle scarf I was working on all finished up! Now if only it would be cold enough to wear it. I want to make more for Christmas presents, and I could use color/yarn suggestions. If only I could find more $7 skeins of highlander!
P.S. Sorry for the super blurry mirror pic!
I moved into a new apartment this weekend. I’m super excited to walking distance to a Jo-Ann and a specialty yarn shop, The Tea Cozy Yarn Shop. I went to both today! At the Tea Cozy, I got a great deal on this Cascade Yarns Sierra in a super cute coral color. I’m not sure what I want to do with it yet. I’m thinking of making a market bag.
Highlander by Alpaca with a Twist in a gorgeous burgnady tweed. Purchased at Bad Woman Yarn in Wallingford (on sale!). Badass seed stitch cowl coming soon.
Working on Norwegian House Slippers. They are going to be perfect to wear in our new apartment in Ballard, which is a Norwegian neighborhood. I’ll need to make Paul one of those Viking hats, too!
